July 2026 product updates

Yoffix product updates from July 2026

This update covers changes released in July 2026, across room check-in, ticketing, parking, user management, and visitor management.

New

Room check-in on the channels your team already uses

Room check-in is no longer limited to QR codes. Admins can now set it up via email, Microsoft Teams, Slack, or QR code, so meeting confirmations happen where people already work. Employees confirm or cancel a room booking straight from the message, and the meeting card updates to show that check-in is complete. Read more.

Submit a ticket from your calendar

Employees can now report an office issue directly from Calendar, My bookings, without switching to the Tickets view. The ticket form includes location selection, so facilities teams still get a precise pin even when the ticket starts from a booking. Read more.

Block a parking space

Parking spaces can now be blocked in the same way as desks. Use this when a space is out of service, reserved for an event, or temporarily unavailable for any other reason. Blocked spaces stay on the floor plan and disappear from the booking pool. Read more.

Change an employee's email address

Admins can now update an employee's email address in People Management. The change applies to the profile and to the login account together, so the person keeps their bookings and their history. Read more.

Visitor invitations in your guest's language

When you invite a visitor, you can select the language of their invitation, and the email is sent using the matching template. Visitors also see your company name in the subject line rather than "Yoffix", which makes the invitation easier to recognize in a crowded inbox. Read more.

Separate settings for each visitor flow

Visitor settings used to sit in a single list, which made it hard to see which option applied to which situation. Office → Settings → Visitors now has a Settings section with three separate toggles, all enabled by default:

  • Enable visitor invitations without desk booking

  • Enable visitor desk bookings

  • Allow adding visitors to meetings

Each of the two booking flows has its own reception validation option, so guests can confirm arrival on the reception tablet instead of through the check-in email. Tablet settings (QR code check-in, privacy link, welcome screen text, brand color, delivery check-in) now sit in their own Tablet configuration section.

Yoffix applies these settings everywhere. If a flow is switched off for one office, the matching action is unavailable there. If it is switched off across every office, the option disappears from the interface. Read more.

Improved

One notification per recurring series

A recurring status update now produces a single notification for the whole series. Previously it sent one notification per day, which filled inboxes for anyone planning several weeks ahead.

Clearer weekly attendance message

The weekly attendance overview now uses clearer wording, so it reads as a summary of your planned office days rather than a request for action.

Privacy settings and anonymous booking

When your company privacy setting is limited to "Entire organization", anonymous booking is no longer available. This keeps the two settings consistent instead of letting one quietly override the other.

"New booking" instead of "New meeting"

Creating a regular office booking now shows the label New booking. The previous label read "New meeting", which suggested a room reservation even when you were booking a desk.

Fixes

  • Company name changes now save immediately, without a log out and log back in.

  • Anonymous bookings no longer show the person's initials in the employee overview for the current day.

  • Bookings removed by the system now trigger the expected notification, which reduces missed cancellations and double bookings.

  • Event organizer department names now stay inside the event card instead of overflowing the layout.

  • QR code PDFs generated for check-in now render titles consistently.

  • Weekly attendance emails now send in the intended time zone.

  • CSV uploads save the Office field as "main office" as expected.

  • Visitors appear on the Visitors page once they accept their invitation.

  • Visitor bookings, including desk bookings, can be deleted from both the Visitors page and Calendar.

  • The meeting room reservation form keeps its layout when you select a room or a time, or add a visitor as a participant.

  • Selecting a desk in My office keeps the time interval you picked on the first try.
