Banks are bringing employees back to the office, desks no longer suffice, and CFOs are asking how much space the portfolio actually needs.

Most institutions answer with averages, and the conclusions drawn from them are wrong. An 80% utilization figure can hide near-empty Mondays and Fridays. A 60% attendance rate can hide teams that never overlap. Meeting rooms feel scarce while sitting at 30% occupancy per booking.

This webinar shows what the data looks like one level deeper.

Three KPIs and a priority matrix

No product demo and no New Work theory. You leave with a concrete measurement approach:

Cost per office day. Why cost per desk breaks down in flexible setups, and how to compare offices across the portfolio.

Office Efficiency Score. Space utilization, weekday peaks, room efficiency, and no-show rates in one view.

Collaboration Opportunity Score. Whether your setup lets teams actually meet: team overlap and anchor day adherence.

The portfolio priority matrix. How to rank 10, 20, or 100 offices, so you know where to start.

All built on systems your bank already runs. No sensors, anonymized, GDPR-compliant and works council compliant.

How a European bank reached over 90% utilization

A bank headquartered in Vienna, with offices in six countries and several thousand employees, wanted to bring its workforce back to the office. Headcount had grown, and the desks in its ten-story headquarters no longer sufficed.

Instead of leasing new space, the bank introduced team zones with priority booking, automatic release rules for unused desks, and team anchor days to flatten the midweek peak.

The result: over 80% of bookings land in team zones, utilization exceeds 90% including off-peak days, and employees use the system daily inside Microsoft Teams. The rollout is now expanding to further countries.

In the webinar, we walk through how this setup was built and which numbers made the decisions possible.
